Founder/Creative Director at Rumble Strip Graphics whenever I have one of those, I exaggerate the problem syllables in my mind as a mnemonic device. So as I'm spelling "definitely" (which I used to screw up habitually), I think deFINITEly. You could think sePARate. It works!
